When we add Cl2 (chlorine) + H2O (water), we get a response which leaves us with HOCl (hypochlorous acid) + HCl (hydrochloric acid). Hypochlorous acid is the active, killing form of chlorine. This is neccessary to fighting off the bacteria that can grow rapidly in water and cause problems such as clogging your filters. With our floating chlorinators, you can distribute safe doses of chlorine while avoiding the bother of having to self dispense the regular treatments. The floating chlorinators not only make for an easy solution but it are also visually appealing and seems fun to kids! All you have to do is unscrew the top piece with the animal of your choice and drop the chlorine tablets inside and secure the lid. Over time the tablets will dissolve leaving your pool sparkling and inviting all summer long! One floating chlorinator can hold up to 4 pounds of tablets and can be set to clean up to 40,000 gallons of water!
