Simply drop the Patented PoolRX unit into the pump basket or the skimmer. The PoolRX immediately gets to work by releasing the natural minerals of zinc, silver and a heavily isolated copper element that continuously and effectively eliminate algae, bacteria and viruses the natural way.
The PoolRX formula used in conjunction with a low chlorine residual has been thoroughly tested by independent laboratories and is proven to have far higher levels of sanitization then other methods of pool water treatment and yet is completely safe for bathers.
The specially treated alloy rod is packed with the PoolRX mineral formula. Once the unit is in place, the mineral formula is released into the pool water within a couple of hours. During the pool’s filtration process, the minerals are rejuvenated every time they return to the PoolRX unit and pass through the alloy rod. The PoolRX unit needs to be replaced at the beginning of each swimming season. Depending on the pool size, an additional Booster Unit may be required on initial purchase (See table below for pool size calculation).

How it works:
The PoolRX works synergistically with the constant low level of chlorine residual (0.5ppm). The copper and zinc elements attack and eliminate algae. The silver elements attack any bacteria and viruses. The mineral activity reduces the oxidizers role from a primary sanitizer to a secondary back up role. This means that there is a drastic reduction in the amount of oxidizer required to sanitize the water and that the oxidizer can function more efficiently to dissolve any organic particles in the water and focus on improving the water clarity.
The PoolRX minerals are natural and non-corrosive and they do not adversely affect the water chemistry. This reduces the movement of the water chemistry and in turn reduces the amount of balancing required, further reducing the need to add more chemicals into the water.
